Fine art print created from my original acrylic seascape / landscape painting of this beautiful 4 acre island called 'Illauncreeveen', which lies just 100m from the shore at the mouth of the harbour near Gun Point in Glengarriff, West Cork.
The mountains in the background are Gabhal Mhór meaning big fork and Gabhal Bheag meaning little fork.
The original was a commissioned painting for a 60th birthday gift, the family lives in this area and it is locally known as 'Creveen'.
Produced by the giclée printing method using special long-lasting pigment on 180gsm watercolour paper. Mounted onto acid free board suitable for prints on watercolour paper. As well as making it sturdier, it prevents movement of the print & surface bubbling.
